BIPPA MISSION

MISSION

The mission of the Indian association BHARTIYA INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PRACTITIONERS ASSOCIATION (BIPPA) is centered on two fundamental objectives: spreading awareness of intellectual property (IP) rights among the populace of India and addressing the challenges faced by intellectual property practitioners in their professional endeavors.
1

SPREADING AWARENESS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IPR)

BIPPA is dedicated to educating the public about the significance and benefits of intellectual property rights. This includes patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Through various outreach programs, seminars, workshops, and informational campaigns, BIPPA aims to demystify the concepts of intellectual property and empower individuals, businesses, and institutions to protect their innovations, creations, and brands. By fostering a culture of respect for intellectual property rights, BIPPA contributes to the promotion of innovation, creativity, and economic growth in India.

2

SUPPORTING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PRACTITIONERS

Intellectual property law practitioners often encounter complex legal, procedural, and practical challenges in their profession. BIPPA serves as a professional support network for intellectual property practitioners, providing them with resources, guidance, and networking opportunities to navigate the intricacies of intellectual property law effectively. BIPPA organizes continuing education programs, legal updates, and professional development workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge base of its members. Additionally, BIPPA advocates for the interests of intellectual property practitioners, engaging with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to address issues such as legal reform, professional standards, and ethical considerations.

Through its dual mission of raising awareness of intellectual property rights and supporting intellectual property practitioners, BIPPA plays a vital role in promoting a robust intellectual property ecosystem in India. By fostering collaboration, education, and advocacy, BIPPA contributes to the protection of innovation, the advancement of creativity, and the overall development of India's knowledge-based economy.
